Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
After much deliberation, we have made the decision to postpone our Top Golf Event and Supplier’s Expo until 2021. It was a difficult decision for us to make, and we are saddened that we will miss the opportunity to connect with you at these two events, but we feel that it is the right thing to do for the health and safety of our entire community. Next year’s Supplier’s Expo will take place at the Savannah Center on Thursday, April 29, 2021. We look forward to seeing you there!
We would like to note that our Student Scholarship Competition is still happening! Students please remember to submit your applications by April 3!

Welcome to the Ohio Valley Section of the Institute of Food Technologists
OVIFT is one of 51 regional sections of the IFT organization, a non-profit scientific society with 22,000 members. Our members represent all areas of the food industry, from packaging to manufacturing to research & development and beyond. With professionals in industry, academia and government, we strive to promote all aspects of food technology.
Whether you are a new student or a seasoned professional, you will benefit from being a member of OVIFT. Meetings occur several times throughout the year (check out the Events page) for fun and informative evenings with outstanding speakers and tours. These events provide you with the opportunity to network, be active in your local area and enjoy gourmet cuisine.
