Position: Quality Assurance & Certifications Compliance Supervisor

Job Description:

The QA & Certifications Compliance Supervisor will implement and manage the Company’s quality systems to ensure proper execution of products, adherence to best practices throughout the production process, achievement of ongoing customer satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant certifications and standards.

Specific Responsibilities & Duties include: 

Work jointly with the Company’s quality consultant and coordinate with greenhouse production and packaging management to:

-Ensure that all quality assurance programs and procedures are being implemented correctly

-Ensure compliance to Federal, State and local regulations

-Evaluate performance to GMP’s; Enforce plant quality standards

-Produce and monitor performance to SOP’s

-Monitor, enforce and further develop the operation’s HACCP program

-Follow all Food Safety requirements

-Direct audit activities: train and conduct meetings regularly with audit team to educate and assure ongoing compliance

-Guide organization personnel through new practices and certifications; Interpret quality control system to personnel within organization; Supervise and review corrective solutions and prevent action claims

-Lead audits; produce monthly reports on inspections and audit performance and propose improvement opportunities

-Coordinate all testing with outside laboratories

-Other duties as assigned
